The DIAdIC study aims to understand how best to support everyone affected by cancer. Specifically it will test whether patients and informal caregivers benefit by having dedicated time to think about, and talk about, their relationship and their needs together. Within DIAdIC these conversations are had as part of supportive programs called FOCUS+ and iFOCUS. As the name would suggest, they FOCUS on key areas: Supporting Family involvement, Supporting Outlook and meaning, Increasing Coping effectiveness, Reducing Uncertainty & Symptom management.
